RELIABLE SERVICES
The ambition of the VIA HANSA is to supply a high-level travel service. We therefore maintain very strict standards for all the services we supply:
HOTELS
We generally use the local hotel classifications. However, if the classifications do not meet international requirements we use our own classification. We contract more than 400 hotels in the region and categorize them according to international standards as 5***** Hotels (deluxe hotels), 4**** Hotels (Superior first class and first class hotels). 3*** Hotels (Superior first class and first class hotels), 2** Hotels (Economy hotels).

RESTAURANTS
We can offer meals at hotel restaurants or alternatively at good typical city restaurants. Restaurants are fairly priced in the Baltics Countries., Russia and Poland, while being more expensive in Finland and Scandinavia. We contract a very large number of restaurants throughout the region. We favor restaurants, that feature traditional local or regional cuisine.

GUIDES
We have our own guide teams. Most of our guides are university graduates and they are in any case fully qualified and experienced and deal with the guests with competence and a smile. We have our own educational centres where we train new guides as well as make our own themes and brush up guide courses prior to the start of each season. The guides are available for sightseeing tours and excursions or for travel with guests throughout their itinerary, according to the wishe of our customers. Our guides are uniformed.

COACHES
For groups without their own transport we assign three types of coaches:
De luxe coaches: New Western made, air-conditioned motor coaches), 1st class coaches (Newer Western made, air-conditioned motor coaches and Standard class coaches (Newer Western-made motor coaches with air-flush) We also have available larger motor coaches and double-decker motor coaches available with up to 70 seats. For smaller groups we can provide minivans in various sizes. For FITs we provide transfers with comfortable private cars or minivans. Most of our drivers speak English or German. They are in uniform and assist with the luggage. In general we do not allow smoking on our vehicles.
QUALITY CONTROL
We ask our guests to help us control the quality of our products by filling out a questionnaire. The questionnaire, which i supposed to evaluate the quality of the above services, is handed out by the guide at the start of the tour and collected at the end.
The questionnaires are analyzed by our operation department by the end of each season in order to maintain and raise the standard of our services.
