From January this year, the Latvian and Belarusian capitals Riga and Minsk are connected with 10 flights per week, operated by Latvian national airline airBaltic and first Belarus-based carrier Belavia. The Riga-Minsk route will be of good use for passengers who will travel from Scandinavia, Western Europe and the Mediterranean region to Minsk via Riga.
